1. Scope
This Policy applies to information processed in connection with our websites and business interactions. For customer telecom data processed on behalf of a Customer (for example, CDRs, network events, subscriber identifiers, or billing data), OG Tel typically acts as a service provider/processor under a separate Order or data processing addendum. In such cases, the Customer controls the purposes and means of processing.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect: (a) contact information you provide (such as name, business email, phone number, job title, and company), (b) communications content when you contact us, (c) website usage information (such as pages viewed, approximate location, device identifiers, browser type, and referral information), and (d) security logs to protect our systems.
If you are a Customer using the Services, we may process operational data necessary to provide the Services, including configuration data and technical telemetry. Customer Content may include personal data depending on the Customer’s use case. Customers are responsible for ensuring they have legal grounds to provide such data to OG Tel.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to: provide and improve the Services; respond to inquiries; deliver proposals and technical documentation; maintain security; prevent fraud and abuse; comply with legal obligations; and manage our business relationship with Customers and partners.
- To communicate about demos, architecture discussions, and implementation planning.
- To measure and improve website performance and user experience.
- To enforce policies and protect our infrastructure and Customers.
4. Legal Bases
Where required by law, we rely on legal bases such as consent (for certain marketing communications), performance of a contract (to provide Services), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, service improvement), and compliance with legal obligations. The applicable basis depends on the context and local requirements.
5. Sharing and Disclosure
We may share information with service providers who help us operate our business (for example, hosting, email delivery, analytics, customer support tooling) under confidentiality and security obligations. We may also share information with professional advisors (lawyers, auditors) and with partners where necessary to deliver specialized components, subject to appropriate safeguards.
We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security. If OG Tel undergoes a corporate transaction (merger, acquisition, asset sale), information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable legal requirements.
6. Cookies and Analytics
Our websites may use cookies or similar technologies to support core functionality, security, and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect certain features. We may use analytics to understand page usage and improve content and performance.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including for business operations, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and enforcement. Retention periods vary based on data type, contractual requirements, and legal obligations. Customer Content retention is governed by the applicable Order or Customer instructions.
8. Security
We maintain technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. Security measures may include access controls, encryption in transit where appropriate, logging and monitoring, least-privilege policies, and change management procedures. No system is perfectly secure; we encourage Customers and users to implement strong internal security practices.
9. International Transfers
If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information may be processed in countries where OG Tel or its service providers operate. We use safeguards intended to protect information consistent with this Policy and applicable law.
10. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to processing of your personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise rights, contact us using the information below. We may need to verify your identity and authority before responding.
Customers controlling Customer Content should submit requests through their organization’s administrator where applicable, since OG Tel may be acting as a processor on the Customer’s behalf.
11. Children’s Privacy
The Services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps consistent with applicable law.
12. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the updated Policy, to the extent permitted by law.
